Is it a cakewalk to the NBA Finals for the Cavs?

After seeing the Celtics lose Leon Powe last night and not having Kevin Garnett for the entire playoffs, people are writing off the defending champs. The other challenger to the Cavs, the Orlando Magic blew a big lead and was stunned by Philly. The question is: Will it be a cakewalk to the NBA Finals? The answer to that question is a definitive no. First off Detroit is no slouch. They no the Cavs really well. Still the Cavs should handle them in no more than 5 games. This would lead to a second round meeting with either the Hawks or the Heat. Either one of these teams can cause problems for the Cavs. Atlanta has been a thorn in the side of the Cavs all year, giving them games. And what a matchup it would be to see Lebron vs D-Wade in Round 2. The Cavs are still stronger than both of those teams. So this would lead to a Conference Finals against The Magic. The Magic are most likely to make it due to the injuries to KG and Powe. This matchup is intriguing because of Orlando's abiliity to shoot the 3 and because of Dwight Howard. In the end, the Cavs are still better because of their defense, depth and experience. If everything goes right for the Cavs, they would likely meet the Lakers in the Finals. Defense is what spelled doom for the Lakers a year ago and it will spell doom again this year. Cavs will take the Finals in 6 or 7 and end a long drought of not having a championship in the great city of Cleveland.
