1. LeBron James: Analysts and writers seem to be 50/50 on the LeBron/Kobe debate. I pick LeBron.
2. Kobe Bryant: Probably one of the 10 greatest players ever. And counting.
3. Chris Paul: Best point guard on the planet. Does EVERYTHING for his team. Led league in asts/steals 2 years in a row.
4. Dwyane Wade: Wade circa 2006 & 2009 makes you put him in LBJ and Kobe's class. Gets to the rim at will.
5. Dwight Howard: Best center in the world. 5th player ever to lead league in rebs/blocks. Only improving offensively.
6. Tim Duncan: Still the best power forward in the league. Still gets 20 & 10 in his sleep.
7. Brandon Roy: 3rd best shooting guard in the league, and one of the top closers. Deadly mid-range game.
8. Kevin Durant: Yep, #8. THE most underrated player in the NBA. Had a monster year, and hardly anyone noticed.
9. Deron Williams: Terrific shooter, and underrated distributer too. Great penetrator.
10. Pau Gasol: Only now is it revealed how good he is, because he no longer gets double teamed, like in Memphis.
11. Carmelo Anthony: Barkley says he the best pure scorer in the world. Extremely versatile. Very tough cover.
12. Dirk Nowitzki: Still carries the franchise, and can shoot with the best of 'em.
13. Kevin Garnett: His stats have dipped, but he makes up for it with defense and being the coach on the floor.
14. Tony Parker: Just had a big year. Carried the Spurs offensively, at times. Now a very good mid-range shooter.
15. Al Jefferson: Assuming the best after the ACL tear, he has awesome post moves. Easily 22 and 11 every night.
16. Paul Pierce: Still one of the most lethal shooters in the league. Huge in crunch time.
17. Chris Bosh: 20 & 10, and still has room for improvement. Very skilled offensively.
18. Amare Stoudemire: When motivated, he's higher on this list, but can still take over a game at times.
19. Yao Ming: When healthy, the 2nd best center in the world. Pretty post moves.
20. Danny Granger: Came out of nowhere, and is now one of the best scorers in the league.
21. Steve Nash: Age and back problems are catching up, but he's still an unbelievable shooter, playmaker, and leader.
22. Shaquille O'Neal: Has actually been pretty healthy lately, and even at 37, teams basically have to double team him.
23. Chauncey Billups: Completely changed Denver's season. Awesome leader and shooter.
24. Ray Allen: CLUTCH. He's going to be the all time leader in 3 point field goals made soon enough.
25. Carlos Boozer: When motivated and healthy, he's a top flight power forward. Great with both hands around the rim.
26. Vince Carter: Had a great under the radar year. Hit some game winners, stayed healthy, and good stats.
27. Joe Johnson: The key to the Hawks offense. Scores well and gets everyone involved. Phx should've kept him.
28. Lamar Odom: When he's on a sugar high, he can be one fo the most talented, versatile playmakers in the NBA.
29. LaMarcus Aldridge: His talent reminds me of a young Rasheed Wallace, without the anger issues.
30. Hedo Turkoglu: If he was just more athletic, he would be a superstar. He can do it all.
31. Kevin Martin: Very underrated. Once he steps in the gym, he's in range. Reminds me of Reggie Miller.
32. Caron Butler: A strong, versatile guy who can score in a variety of ways. Similar game to Carmelo's.
33. Devin Harris: One of the best pentrators in the league, and his jumpshot is improving. Very quick.
34. Manu Ginobili: As long as his ankles are OK, he should be back to carving his way to the rim on a regular basis.
35. Derrick Rose: Simply electric. So athletic and strong. If he can ever develop a jumper, he'll be AMAZING.
