The Cleveland Cavaliers are eight wins away from becoming the Champions of the NBA.  In sports, there is nothing abnormal about that statement.  But for Clevelanders, it just doesn't sound right.  Having a franchise that looks like a certain winner is not common.  Having the best player in the world on "your" team doesn't happen.  And winning Championships just doesn't happen in Cleveland.  The Cavs are 8 wins away from ending a draught that has terrorized Cleveland fans for nearly half a decade.

LeBron James is the best basketball player on the planet and he is a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers... Enough said.  He will bring Cavs fans a championship ring and it is only a matter of time until we can sip the champagne.

Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James future posted on 10/12/2008
Much of the talk regarding the Cavaliers this off season has been of LeBron James.  According to basketball experts and Cleveland haters LeBron is just biting his nails (an annoying habit of LeBron's) to get out of Cleveland.  Whether the motive is more money, a bigger market like New York, or his friendship with Hip Hop icon Jay-Z, everyone seems to know that LeBron's stay in Cleveland is going to be short lived.  My response to all this nonsense is the same as Drew Carey's response to Cleveland haters on Sunday night in the Browns return to Cleveland in 1999, "Shut Up!".  Everyone needs to shut there mouths and realize that LeBron is not going anywhere.  My position is clearly biased and I will say that my fingers are crossed.  Nevertheless, I will
